Now it’s time for me

From the moment you were a seed

Growing inside of me

To the moment you were ready

To start school

I have been there

Losing myself to raise, care and protect you

I wouldn’t have done anything different

But now it’s time for me to find myself again

Find the new version of me

I need to get to know myself again

Why is this so important?

Well, because I want you to see me

Strong, and Happy, and Motivated

I want you to see a mum that works hard,

A person that takes care of themselves,

Someone who is passionate about life,

This is important because you are now entering a new phase of your growth and I want you to be all of those things and more.

As you navigate school life,

So watch, learn and grow,

But most importantly be yourself and do the things that you love and that make your soul light up.

I love you my darling

Let’s grow in this next phase together.
