Now I need a Bath

A Rock

By Antoinette L BreyPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

As the rock emerged, we swiveled, no fear

From you, a deep breathe, from me a giggle

A joke or two about how you could steer

How the canoe had begun to wiggle

After a moment my heart racing

Fear gone, peace replacing, all I could think

The challenge, the future we are facing

I'm ready I'm on happinesses brink

Then I yell, in confidence and in glee

Let us do it again I am ready

More rocks ahead, and logs I see

No fear because our course is steady

And then a log gets the better of me

water fills the boat, a refreshing bath

all we do is laugh, no problem no rath
