or archly, perhaps,

“Oh, the state of this estate!”

How impersonal, this personal representative!

Appointed -- not chosen, not rightful.

No pulling swords from stones.

Sibling? Parent? Cousin? Neighbor?

Perhaps your long lost child, adopted after birth,

found only after your death.

You'd show me pictures, videos, mementos,

tell me stories, explain inside jokes,

share revelations in a hushed tone,

sit quietly with unspoken remembering,

until our coffee (or tea) got cold.

ALL INTERESTED PERSONS OR UNPAID CLAIMANTS HAVING ANY OBJECTION TO THE APPOINTMENT OF THE PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE SHALL FILE THEIR OBJECTION WITH THE REGISTER OF WILLS ON OR BEFORE THE 22ND DAY OF JULY, 2026.

Does anyone here present know of any reason why these two,

G. A. Jones and T. C. HOLDEN,

should not be joined in representation?

If so, speak by July 22 or forever

hold your peace.

ALL PERSONS HAVING ANY OBJECTION TO THE PROBATE OF THE WILL OF THE DECEDENT SHALL FILE THEIR OBJECTIONS WITH THE REGISTER OF WILLS ON OR BEFORE THE 22ND DAY OF JULY, 2026.

Decedent: one who no longer exists.

I guess this means you are a ghost ...

(1) SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE DECEDENT'S DEATH; OR

(2) TWO MONTHS AFTER THE PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE MAILS OR OTHERWISE DELIVERS TO THE CREDITOR A COPY OF THIS PUBLISHED NOTICE OR OTHER WRITTEN NOTICE, NOTIFYING THE CREDITOR THAT THE CLAIM WILL BE BARRED UNLESS THE CREDITOR PRESENTS THE CLAIMS WITHIN TWO MONTHS FROM THE MAILING OR OTHER DELIVERY OF THE NOTICE. A CLAIM NOT PRESENTED OR FILED ON OR BEFORE THAT DATE, OR ANY EXTENSION PROVIDED BY LAW, IS UNENFORCEABLE THEREAFTER. CLAIM FORMS MAY BE OBTAINED FROM THE REGISTER OF WILLS.

and didn't make.

You are hereby credited with your existence,

which is after all

all that anyone can claim.
