Nothing to the Sands of Time

Poem by Declan Nieradka

By Declan NieradkaPublished 8 years ago 1 min read

Time. None, it evades.

Minutes... Weeks... Decades...

Halt and desist, it doth not.

Quite unrelenting in thought.

Tis a commodity most sought,

However, it cannot be bought.

The Sands of Time Keep on Pouring,

With or without Man's Ignoring.

It is Time, of which some humans may care,

However defying it they would not dare.

Time, it doth care little for us,

So over it, let us not fuss.

Upon the Angels and God it has little relevance.

Yet time for us, determines Periodic Existence.

The Sands shall never yield.

Our fates are thus sealed.

We can live by an Evil or Good Paradigm,

But still yet we are Nothing to the Sands of Time.
