Just shut up.
How is there nothing to say
To someone who you would want to
Bare your heart to
Does this person already know everything
Or is it just easier to keep them in the dark?
Unaware of the noise in your head
So you don’t disrupt the noise in theirs
You tell yourself maybe they don’t care
You’re not exactly wrong...
They don’t.
All they want is the voices in their head
To run around their minds
The only cardio they’ll get.
They keep others shut out
Unaware that all they’re doing
Is making the other close up instead.
