It makes me sad when I think about you not being around.

I don’t know why I think about that, when you are right next to me.

I guess it’s the Fight or Flight instinct,

Always ready for good things to go away.

I turn over my pillow to the cool side, laying my head back down against the silk yellow cover.

My back is turned to you, but I reach out my hand,

at an uncomfortable angle,

Just to touch your skin.

So you can’t go

Away.

I would choose you over and over again

In every lifetime

In every book ending.
