NOTHING LASTS FOREVER

Sometimes

The day started great

But little did I know the fate

That they had in store for me

I was no longer filled with glee

They wanted to destroy

Everything that I did under their employ

It made me realize that managers don’t care

They just want to show the flare

Of their rank

But they wanted me to walk the plank

They put me under so much stress

I started to become depressed

And I didn’t know where to turn

But I guess I better learn

How to deal with the uncaring

Things have become so unwavering

Sometimes I don’t know what to do

All I can guess is that this has also happened to you

At some point in your life

And you just had to take it in strife

The best way you know how

Lift your head and straighten your crown

And let it fall to the ground

About the Creator

Pamela Dirr

I like to write based on my personal experiences. It helps me clear my mind. We all go through things in life. Good things. Not so good things. My experiences might also help other people with things that they might be going through.
