when i was young i did some things im not too proud of,

But it taught me alot about life and alot about love,

Everything happens for a reason i beleive that to be true,

And i did some things i am proud of too,

But the best thing in life that i did all the paths i took,

All the roads i crossed and diddnt look,

During all my phases in life good or bad,

The lonely the sad,

Is when the day came that i met you,

My heart dropped my jaw did too,

I diddnt know what to say or what to do,

So at first i played it cool,

I had a girl and you had a dude,

But it diddnt stop the hearts jumpin around in my eyes,

I kept trying to look so hard i really tried,

Your smile was bright lips were full,

The way you talked and carried yourself you were just too cool,

The party was over we parted ways,

Diddnt see you again for too many months too many days,

My girlfriend left me for one of my friends,

All i could think of was to see you again,

I thought now im single now im free,

Maybe she is too and she might just like me,

Then one night i was out on the town,

Chillin with some friends just hangin around,

I saw you i saw you rubbed my eyes sqinting just to be sure,

And there you were coming through the front door,

I was so nervous i felt my hands start to sweat my chest thumping loud,

You alone too no dude around,

I waved said hey,

You waved back and there we were in conversation about when we met that day,

You liked me too,

So i ask you out you said yes “now what we gonna do”,

We had a blast we did everything under the sun and moon,

And i just knew we would make it but not so soon,

My past life caught up with me i went to jail,

And the roomers and gossip sent our relationship all to hell,

I got out you moved on had husband and kids,

So i left you alone and found my own life to live,

Now 15 years later my wife was a cheater,

Your husband wasnt to loyal either,

So now we are back together,

This time forever,
