Not Without This Thing We Hold

Not without this thing we hold
For we must hold
And then we turn and it is all we have
To see this
To be this
Everyone has windows
Turning from you
Beaten and sad
Lost amongst the tatters of rat bitten cloth
Driven by forms
Lost by forms
This is what we have
It is
Whirling down drains
Spilling with the rain
Lost on a summer day
Deep in the pits
About the Creator

I am a former English High School teacher who drifted into a different career in technology, but have always missed writing and interacting with a creative community. I welcome comments and feedback and hope that you enjoy my work.
