Have you ever held a photograph that has faded over time?
A snatched rhyme, a frozen memory?
You're there—glowy, smiling, alive,
However, the moment seems to have vanished.
The warm brightness of the sun, the beaming smiles,
But long ago, where was your head?
You see yourself beaming, your happiness blossoming.
But your heart feels lost in the room, far away.
It's odd to forget what ought to be so obvious,
Happy moments, but they pass.
Did you let the day pass you by like sand?
Unable to land because you're focused elsewhere?
Then there is the drive—commonplace, accustomed,
The routine scene, the sound of the motor.
You begin at point A, and once you get there,
No recollection of the roads that saved your life.
The peculiarity of losing fragments of time
to be a silent mime who lives but does not feel.
Your spirit remained blind despite your eyes being fully open.
In the fog of an irrational mind.
Life goes very quickly, and its moments are blurred.
Memories stir, and the present fades.
There are many distractions and thefts nowadays.
While tomorrows are piling up in a never-ending array.
However, what if you took a brief break?
And really smiled and welcomed the world?
To taste every tear, to experience every laugh,
to keep oneself rooted in the present moment.
Inhale the air and allow it to fill your chest.
As the sun sets in the west, feel its kiss.
Listen to the steady beat of your heart, the sound of footfall,
The dance of your steps, the rustling of leaves.
Because every moment in life is a piece of a mosaic,
Some are heavily damaged, some are jagged, and some are smooth.
However, each component is significant and accurate.
And when you see things through, the masterpiece is created.
Thus, regain your presence and keep it focused.
Every day should be lived freely and completely.
Treasure the commonplace, the minor and significant,
The richness of life can be discovered in the now.
You'll look at a photo once again one day.
And recall when, in addition to feeling delight.
The laughter you witness will reverberate in your heart.
Once lost, a moment now exists without memory.
Living in the present is the greatest art; it's a gift to yourself and a starting point. Therefore, slow down your thoughts, let go of the unsaid, and remember that this life is a treasure; don't let it break. Hold each second as though it were your last token because moments lived completely are never forgotten. Be the driver who knows every turn, the flame in the fire, the soul that burns.
