I don't feel the joy today
Not in the mood to write an uplifting poem
My mind is going through a storm
Realizing that I’m the one causing myself harm
Snap out of it!
Push the darkness away
Practice what you say
Nothing in life is easy
Hard work still works believe me
It won't all be in vain
Sometimes you have to lose to gain
You got to stand the rain
And fight through the pain
