If I build a home of joy bricks

Instead of straw full of doubt

Would the hardships of life still blow me down

Into a deep depression?

But I don't have the strength to build again

I'm just going to end up in the same cycle

Where straws of doubt is the only thing I can afford to gain

But if I did build with bricks of joy

I would build a house full of hope

One that could whether the hardship of life's winds

No matter how hard it blow

Maybe God can be the builder

But I might have to trade in my straw of doubt

For His hand in trust

Okay fine I’ll will trade, and let him build it
