Not Even a Second Glance
A verse for someone from a long time ago

I have been trying to forget you
Trying to go on with my life without your presence
I have been surviving
Albeit only subsisting
But I think I am mostly fine
Until I saw you again one day
Walking into the very room I am in
I looked at you not knowing what to do
A part of me hoped even for mere acknowledgement
You looked at me
Stared into my eyes
Time froze
I may seem emotionless outside
But the turmoil is pounding in my head
You looked away
Without a smile
Not even a second glance
And the sorrow deadened my heart
I am in stupor.
