Nostra Aetate

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished 4 months ago 1 min read

[Verse]

Once we drew the lines so deep

Walls so high no soul could leap

A world of silence carved by creed

Dust of ages on the page

Yet hope ignites through every age

A whisper breaks the binding cage

[Chorus]

Threads of Nostra Aetate

Binding hearts across the seas

Not just you not just me

But the we that we could be

[Verse 2]

Wounds of war we’ve yet to heal

Stories buried under steel

How do we find what’s truly real

Faiths entwined like branches grow

Roots below where rivers flow

What you believe I still must know

[Prechorus]

Not strangers not foes

Hands reaching close
