Angel Walks Quiet

By Julie O'Hara - Author, Poet and Spiritual WarriorPublished 4 months ago 1 min read

[Verse 1]

Sat in a corner

Shadows wrapped me tight

The world felt colder

No spark

No light

He walked in quiet

Like he knew my name

Not a word was spoken

But I wasn't the same

[Chorus]

You sent an angel in the crowd

He spoke no thunder

No voice too loud

Just a quiet grace

A steady hand

He showed me love

Helped me understand

[Verse 2]

A professor’s wisdom in his kind

Warm eyes

The weight of years under open skies

He sat beside me

Like he'd always been

A stranger's heart felt like my next of kin

[Prechorus]

He didn’t preach

He didn’t boast

Just shared a peace I needed most

[Chorus]

You sent an angel in the crowd

He spoke no thunder

No voice too loud

Just a quiet grace

A steady hand

He showed me love

Helped me understand

[Bridge]

When the world turns away

And I lose my fight

You send your angels cloaked in ordinary light

Not wings or halos

But a gentle smile
