Moonlit eyes,
remember the prize,
of the hearts sonata,
during the Christmas cantata.
You squeeze my arm,
and affectionately smell the cologne on my shoulder.
I put some there because I know you like it so…
Walking down the red church steps…
cedar chips crunch outside.
Live nativity scene, humbly displayed.
Candles in white bags line the sidewalk.
One white bag catches on fire and causes brouhaha in the crowd of strollers.
A teenager with large boots stamps out the fire with a calm face.
Free hot chocolate at a stand welcomes those who walk by.
It’s a nostalgic experience.

Beautiful poem ❤️
I love how sweet this feels. Plus, flames and free hot chocolate! 🎄🦌
A swish of wistful gives this a poignantly beautiful snapshot in time. Christmas is more than a season as time goes on ❤️😊☀️
A beautiful vibe driven poem. Bringing us back to the nativity scene. With hearts sonata and Christmas cantata. Words I've never seen before but brouhaha made me laugh. Very thoughtful and masterfully done, Rowan ❤️🤗
I love the excitement of the sacredness you described, Roman/Jesse!
