Nostalgia is the Killer of the Future

I wish I could forget you

Sometimes I look back on our life and think about how it was so

Together,

So intertwined.

One life experienced simultaneously by two different souls.

One team, one group, one duo.

Were you ever thinking the same things as me?

Processing them the same?

It’s a little scary looking back

On all the times we just couldn't make sense of each other,

Didn't process our thoughts the same,

even though no one knew us better.

One day you will find that there are 1,000 strangers in a big room, and it feels like not one of them could understand you.

If by happenstance one does, you just

Build a life

Together.

You are my favorite and most sad story to tell.
