In the quiet of Wigan's dark streets,

The night is long, Northern Lights Great ,

A celestial sight begins to unfold,

whispers of wonder, a tale to be told.

The northern lights, fill the sky this night ,

Painting the sky with colors so bright,

Emerald greens and soft shades of Red,

A sight to see before we go to our beds

Above the rooftops, they shimmer and sway,

A symphony of stars in a wonderful display,

As Wigan people watch, oh what a sight ,

Under the spell of this magical night.

The echoes of laughter, a sky all a glow,

a dream that our Universe want to show.

Each flicker a promise, each shimmer a sign,

Of beauty and hope, the world is alined

So let us gather beneath this wonderful sky

eye’s opened wide, a tear in our eye

Yes tonight in Wigan, beneath the celestial glow,

The northern lights put on a beautiful show
