No Longer Crying In Your Arms
No Longer Dying From Your Wounds

I am no longer crying in your arms,
No longer hiding bruises and scars,
All of the shame you put inside my head,
Has turned into confidence instead,
I'm no longer trembling when I hear your voice,
No longer screaming inside my head,
No longer silenced by your threats,
No longer bounded by your demands,
I am free to be myself today,
Free to follow my dreams,
Free to trust my instincts,
Free to use my voice,
I am no longer afraid to make a sound;
I am no longer dying from your wounds.
