no hope no harm
a poem about waking up from a sweet dream, to a bitter reality.

In a dream
you held me tight
In a dream
you said I was right
In a dream
you said “you’ve changed my life”
In a dream
we’ve come to a terms to say “keep it light”
In a dream, only a dream
I don’t have to put up this fight.
Then I wake up, and i remember that we don’t speak.
The days pass me by
waiting for something so bleak
if you were to return to me
i’d turn the other cheek.
