Hedonistic

A life led by shallow pleasures

is not a life

with a promise of forever

much darker are the nights

when you are busy coming down

from such heights

the pursuit to feel whole

accompanied with

some people you don't know

is never one

that will dull the woe

for once, for a moment

swirling around in time

frozen

one-

and, one more
