No Hidden AI Just My Own Poems

Some say kindly,

You write so many poems.

Maybe six or eight a day?

it’s just my way.

They ask,

Do you use AI

No. Never.

My words are my own,

All years old or freshly grown.

Head to pen,

pen to page,

that’s how I work

through pain and age.

Locked inside,

I lose my mind,

my poetry

keeps the dark behind.

Give me a subject,

I’ll reply in a sec.

Words come to me;

it’s a natural knack.

I used to write songs,

and I was quite good.

So why so many poems?

They help my mind,

I feel understood.

Maybe I’m mad.

Maybe I’m sane.

But poetry, truly,

relieves my pain.

Not a poem factory.

No hidden AI.

Just me,

writing my way through life,

as the days go by.

Please Note I am disabled. I write in the night and publish. I also go through old poems and put them on here. I have boxes and books full. I have been writing for 55 years, since I was 10 years old. That’s why there are so many. Most nights I’m in pain, so I like to write and publish then—or in the mornings. I stop writing when sleep finally lets me go, about 4–5 a.m.… After Covid and arthritis in both feet and knees. Since contracting Covid in 2020. I am learning to walk again. The main pic on this is my cubes full of my Poetry over many years I have 27 of these cubes. So yes I write lots. No I am not a factory and No I don’t use AI like so many on here do. My work is all my own ❤️🤗❤️
