The transition between hues.
I was blue
When I was anew
For death was due
I was black
As the thoughts flew back
Of the day we were under attack
I was green
At the evil I'd seen
And I got mean
I was burgundy
Embers ran up my tree
And they all ran from me
I was yellow
Chaotic yet mellow
Sharing my hell's bellow
I was violet
I accepted those pilots
For they gave me this islet
I was white
I became a light
Even in the night
I was blue
When the planes flew
But now.. I'm a different hue.
