Nike Baby

For those on the run, but they've got nowhere to go...

By CatPublished 4 years ago 1 min read
Taken on a trip to Paris.

I’m on the run.

And I’ve got nowhere to go.

Told him

“I can’t love nobody…”

But we fuckin’.

On the low.

He said,

“Be my Nike baby,

'cuz I got somewhere to go.”

He said,

“You my Nike baby.

‘Cuz you always

on the go.”

Can’t ever

sit still.

Yet still,

can’t ever

let go.

But I feel the need to run.

‘Cuz nothing's

ever

as it goes.

He said,

“Be my Nike baby…

‘Cuz you always

on the go.”

He said,

"Be my Nike baby…

‘Cuz got somewhere to go.”

I really thought that

you would be the one to

stay.

But once I saw those

Air Force Ones,

I knew that soon

I’d be

replaced.

I tried to run.

‘Cuz I’m always on the go.

But my feet and soul grew tired

of heavy baggage

with no clothes.

He said,

“You’re a

Nike baby.

You don’t settle down

and grow old!

You are the fun

all while it lasts...

Until I meet the one

to hold.”

He said

“Be my Nike baby…

‘cuz you always

on the go.”

He said,

“Be my Nike baby…

'cuz I got somewhere to

Go.”
