Nika The Hamster

A Rodent’s Revenge

By Luke WoodruffPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

There once was a hamster named Nika,

Who loved to frolic and prance.

She ran through the woods and made many friends,

And sometimes she would even dance.

Now one day Nika was captured by a boy,

who loved to squeeze and flick her.

He locked her in a cage and when he was angry,

He'd yell and roughly kick her.

Now Nika was keen and Nika was smart,

waiting for the perfect stage.

And one day the boy was fast asleep,

So Nika broke out of her cage.

She chewed the boy's face and ate his eyes,

laughing as he screamed and cried.

And Nika found escape back in to the great woods,

feeling like she could fly.

She ran and she hopped and pounced with joy,

All the while singing loud songs.

For she'd found her vengeance and he got his desserts,

as she set to right what was wrong.
