Night Flight

A poem

Don’t take a fright

If you go out at night

And see a witch at flight

For everything is alright

I’m flying by the moonlight

Below is bathed in white

As I sit on my broom upright

Wishing with all my might

For things to come out right

With a blessing spell, I write

To cast on all in sight.

Except for those who live in spite.

Come near, sit a spell, and listen to tales of old as I sit and rock by my fire. I'll serve you some cocoa and cookies as I tell you of the time long gone by when your Greats-greats once lived.
