Gooey marshmallows covered in chocolate;

graham crackers crumbling now in my hands,

crackles of fireflies sparks off the logs

-- standing there with my toes between the sands.

Night young, billions of tiny white fires

lighting the inky black canvas back drop.

A bright face floating in the nothingness

-- smiling upon the other now atop.

In the rolling waves they shimmer and dance;

an invisible “ding” coming from far.

A strong white stream of light slowly flicking

-- in and out of the darkness past the bar.

Bellows sounding from the withering sea;

Rocks and cave walls below are far from me.
