Night and Light

Ekphrastic Poem

By K.A. SmithPublished 10 months ago 1 min read

Night and light shines
Tonight, tonight,
And some nights
Light and song.

Orange, pink, blue
And gold...
Parts away!
The eyes fold.

Smiled so much
All nighty night long.
Like an Ole sibling...
An Ole dancing song.

I love it all especially the this verse: "Like an Ole sibling... An Ole dancing song." I like the humor and the light hearted take. Beautifully written!
