NEW MOON

there was a time when moon and i used to go on dates!

just kidding :) soo i once came across a post asking to write a poem for your partner or significant other imagining them as your moon, well i read it and i was like i don't really have a partner but maybe i could give it a shot so i decided to create a storyline in which the person's characters align with that of the moon as i had the privilege to add any characters or charms to the person in my poem since it was just a fragment of my imagination and not a real person to dedicate it to and yupp! we came up with this one,it's quite short as compared to my other ones though but still i liked this one as it was different from the type of poems i usually write,it's more towards storytelling.

He always used to spend his evenings his nights with me

i always wondered where he disappears just when the dawn strikes

i didn't care enough since he was always there when the dark arrives

even when there were no stars, he was there sticking around with his own charm

then one evening weirdly there was no him

i wondered what actually happened.
