I had a cold

do you want to feel a cold?

a cat having a cold

i have a cold , my nose feels heavy and my throat is sore

the same way it was when the day you left

i didn't have a cold still my nose felt heavy and my throat felt sore

sore it wasn't because i had a cold

sore it was because i had no hold of the person i wanted the most

my head feels heavy and my face is pale the same way it did before

but it wasn't a cold

it was simply as if my heart was being stoned

i wish it was a cold but it wasn't

because my nose felt heavy and throat felt sore even when there was no cold

i am sipping a ginger honey lemon to soothe the cold which is a cold

wish i had the same recipe when i had the cold which wasn't a cold

what is cold?

cold is a familiar sensation which i never wanted to have before

still it caught me just like it does to everyone else

i guess a cold is inevitable unlike his love for me

i guess a cold is inevitable like my love for him.

for the record , it does feel worse to have a cold, here i am talking about the real one where you sneeze like 70 times per minute, at this moment i am having a cold with a slight fever which inspired me to write this one , i mean the vibes were immaculate, i was alone in my home with slow music in the background actually sipping a honey lemon in my cozy blanket so why not another poem?

a happy day !
