Never the Same

The Colors of Me

By Jenni SullivanPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Day to day I change;

I’ll never be exactly the same.

Minute by minute, I learn and grow.

Letting emotions come and thoughts flow.

I can be less clear, more dreary.

Then so vivid and airy.

Like colors changing in the sky, when brilliant blue turns to an inky night.

Or the way the sunset bleeds orange and pink. Making you stop to wonder, stop to think.

I can become all the colors in their beautiful prime. Or the absence of all color at the drop of a dime.

Each dramatic, yet equally romantic.

I’ll never be exactly the same.
