Never mind, the words that cut you, or the blood that trickles from skin.
Never mind, being left all alone, abandoned by chosen kin.
Never mind, the isolation, or the loud lonely nights.
Never mind, the words that leave you unarmed in every fight.
Never mind, your clever mind, left unused a while.
Never mind, that no one sees the pain behind your smile.
Never mind, that all you ever needed is nowhere to be found.
Never mind, that all you ever wanted is headed underground.
Never mind, the path you chose has led you to dead end.
Never mind, your lingering hope, you may yet find a friend.
Never mind, you’re all alone, you feel this is forever.
Never mind, you’ve gone numb, all your hope now severed.
Never mind, it’s over now, time to start anew.
Never mind, this pain is past, not part of this new you.
