Out there may be a dying man who’s life will be no more
And now he finally contemplates, “What good was ‘living’ for”
Today that very person boasts that “God is just a fraud”
Wow, never have I ever seen so many mocking God
Our culture’s gotten liberal, and more so every day
I know things change and people change, but we have lost our way
I must admit the “Days gone by” are days I truly miss
Since never have I ever thought that things would come to this
Now “common sense” is “racist” when we’re challenged in debate
But I can’t enter heaven by reciprocating, hate
So even though I simply know what’s right and what is wrong
Never have I ever felt resentment quite this strong
Despite my many weaknesses, my faults and all my sins
If all I’ve gained is bitterness, it isn’t me that wins
I’ve failed enough to recognize, this life is just a test
But never have I ever thought my life could still be blessed
Flat Earther’s, Chemtrails, aliens, conspiracies abound
We’ve open borders, climate change, and politics unsound
Moralities and principles, they hardly now apply
But never have I ever thought we wouldn’t even try

I feel most of our youth is lost these days. This poem is a wake-up call. I especially this line happening these days: "I know things change and people change, but we have lost our way"
well done
