War, What Is It Good For

When a nation’s been ravaged by war
In the end they’ll ask, “What was it for”
We go fight and we toil
Pour our blood in the soil
Until someone says, “Please God, no more”
Tho it’s obvious some countries love it
Only death and destruction comes of it
Soldiers fight and they die
After, families will cry
It’s why God says it’s wicked to covet
And it’s often for something unsound
It’s the subject we’re dancing around
Despite lies we create
We’re aware of the bait
It’s that fishhook down deep in the ground
So we lobbied to drill but we couldn’t
Because Congress decided we shouldn’t
Now old men wearing suits
Order children in boots
To fight wars that the most of them wouldn’t
Here’s a notion we might want to savor
What if now we tried loving our neighbor
Why not ask what it’s worth
To be peaceful on earth
It would do ourselves one giant favor

It's sad but when someone love one's dies . Someone wants revenge. It won't stop until the evil ring master dies. I do wonder if Israel will stop attacking other countries now that they killed hamas leader.
Great job 👏
Peace on earth would be a novel way of living. We can hope:😍
