Alternating vibes
We never leave each other
Through the hardest times
~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~☆~
We relive old memories
As new ones come by.
Yet we don't get bored
Waiting for the next season
We enjoy life's bloom.
Giving us a choice
Each moment is a blessing
For experience.
That's how years pass by
Changes of times remind us
When we were just kids.

The daughter of silence
It all started when Echo was five. She kept having these nightmares where she would just fall into a dark pit, screaming insanely loud, yet no one, not even her own parents would hear her. It was terrifying. But the most horrible part was that when she'd wake up panting, her parents were nowhere to be found, just like in her dream. She'd always cry herself to sleep alone and helpless.

Day 4 of Quitting
If this is how sobriety feels, maybe it’s better to go through life a little buzzed… this, along with other hits like, I want to kill myself, I wish I was dead, and I’m going to throw myself off a bridge have been the only thoughts on rotation these past few days. I promise myself that if, in a month, I still feel like this (‘this’ meaning despondent, full of rage, and simultaneously numb) I can go back to smoking. Until mid-February though? Nicotine is off the table.

Thinking back into memory lane is the message to thankful of each day on Earth.
This makes me wish I could open up my mind and travel back to my childhood, but also take my kids with me! But I also loved the overall message that each moment of life is a blessing. Really wonderful, Anna.
