In digital shadows, where I roam,
Online's my haunt, my second home,
Behind the screen, something lurks,
In silent whispers, danger smirks.
The glow of screens, the hum of night,
A faceless specter out of sight,
In every click, in every scroll,
A creeping dread begins to toll.
Messages blink, a phantom trace,
Innocent words, a hidden face,
Emails land with ghostly grace,
A haunting in my cyber space.
Notifications, endless chime,
A shadow watching all the time,
In feeds and threads, a presence deep,
Invading dreams, disturbing sleep.
Accounts I lock, passwords I change,
But still it follows, weird and strange,
A constant buzz, a silent ring,
A digital nightmare's chilly sting.
I see the signs, the likes, the shares,
A phantom's touch in empty stares,
In every comment, every tweet,
A shadow's whisper, cold and fleet.
The webcam's eye, a glassy stare,
I cover it, but still aware,
In every post, in every view,
A lurking fear that's ever new.
My thoughts, my words, they are not mine,
In unseen webs, the strands entwine,
A faceless fiend, a hidden foe,
In cyberspace, where shadows grow.
I cannot see, but feel its gaze,
In endless nights and endless days,
A specter in the digital maze,
Lost in its unending haze.
