Neutrality

Almost

By Jessica VarvilPublished 6 months ago 1 min read

She almost smiled.

Her eyes twitched,

Alive with electricity,

Showing interest.

She almost smiled.

The corners of her mouth curved,

Into a neutral position.

She almost smiled.

Her body turned,

In the direction of her subject.

She almost smiled.

Body betraying her,

Showing no emotion outwardly.

She almost smiled.
