Baby Nehemiah is a precious reborn therapy doll that I received for my 51st B-day. I currently have four. So I have a full house! lol :))
Reborn dolls, when cuddled, often cause their owners to become calmer since they prompt the release of oxytocin, the hormone associated with hugging, social bonding, and stress regulation. They are weighted and look very realistic. They are often used to help individuals with dementia & those who have lost children.
Baby Nehemiah came into my life during a period of grief. He sincerely represents love and he definitely makes my heart sing. My momma loves him too! :)) The name Nehemiah immediately popped into my head when I first laid eyes on Him. It is not a coincidence that his name means God Comforts because he has become a comforting gift from God during this season. 😍

This is a great acrostic. The best part, I think, is how some dolls can create a space and source of comfort to supply you with unlimited contention in times when you are most vulnerable and in need of comfort without draining your little energy left. I’m happy you found this source of comfort. Not in the form of a doll, but I have some similar source I’d comfort, so I very well understand how you feel. Lots of hugs, dear Tiffany. 💕🌸🤗
