Negotiate, Accommodate, never Compromise

I believe what helps build a lasting relationship

Aside from having open communication in the partnership

Is also the ability to negotiate

And the willingness to accommodate

The needs and wants that will surface

And being expressed between two partners

But never compromise

It may lead to a tragic demise

Of a flourishing connection

And a possible promising union

That is suppose to end up into a beautiful communion

But instead of ending up in marriage

Everything will just go to waste.

Who wants that in a relationship?

We dream of a long lasting partnership

However we want that to form and shape

Just remember to negotiate and accommodate

Never agree to compromise.

Compromise can kill spontaneity

Compromise can kill creativity

And the worst, it can kill one's freedom and individuality.
