Natures kaleidoscopic path to unique

Finding the Self

By Rollo Astbury GoodmanPublished 5 years ago 1 min read

Looking at a paint spectrum

Originality feels lost

Taken down a mass produced road

Where consumerism blossoms

Conformity spreading like weeds creating cracks

A path that to start felt smoother

Modernising, heading to utopia

Blinded by hubris

We did not see the poisonous overgrowth

Nature has not given up though

Fighting for survival with constant grace

Through stunning acts and indescribable colours

We are shown unique is not just a word

Lost only in snowflakes

At a glance the picture can be dire

Where one cannot seem to make a difference

Though, taking the time it’s easy not to have

You see the individual capacity

Natures champions

Giving inspiration and light

For such an array of colourful delights

Matched with never faltering might

Shows all of us we can do more in this fight

Slowly letting nature integrate

Colours come into sight

The tint from old roads removed

Glints of possibilities arise

Sky and sea playing with the spectrum

Creative rainbows dancing through

You body urging to sway with the ocular song

A kaleidoscopic score sheet

Ready to guide you along

Setting sights on your inner Self

Finally the muddy water turns to crystal

The view clearing as if sailing into the bohemian seas

A chance to delve into your unique aura emerges

Unique adventure my special feat

The love of the sea my grace

Constantly connecting me to natures illuminating charm

Through a tornado of multi coloured butterflies

While trekking through a jungle

Or, the ever changing seas

There is an enduring show of her divinity

Fierce storms to breathless glass water stretches

Thick grey clouds

With golden rays of sunshine shooting through

All creating colours no camera nor painter

Could ever depict

They are forever memories finest pieces

And a reminder for whenever you think,

Unique is lost only in snowflakes.
