nature weeps a hurricane

like a lover scorned

By Montgomery ReavesPublished 3 years ago Updated 3 years ago 1 min read

i don’t go outside

sunburnt skin and wind-chapped lips

nature is not kind

*

she tears through the streets

taking back what’s rightly hers

earthquake, flood and heat

*

humans broke her heart

it’s not the apocalypse

but it is a start
