Nature

The way nature is

Or nature was

Is beautiful

Plants growing to feed

And animals growing from feeding

Nature is natural

The clear water, green leaves, and blue skies

Nature is like a museum

It’s terrible that humans cannot see without touching

Or destroying

To play on words, it’s a natural disaster

I can see nature in its own habitat

And appreciate it

But I always have to step back in reality

And realize it’s a picture

Of what nature used to be
