Bark like and towering—But no tree,
a grotesque metal parody of
nature. A bird that decided to
rest here, might get a shocking
result. Squat buildings behind
a non-tree. A placid sky
background to an Industrial
Reality. What does this
say about our society? Someone is
probably Tweeting about it, but who
knows where real knowledge
went? If you want any recipe,
you have it— Want a Latin
translation? No problem, but can
the internet tell you how bark feels
against trembling fingers? Or what
it feels like to be at the top of a
mountain? The way the air feels,
whipping against bare skin.
The way cerulean rivers flow,
Bursting with fish and life. Nature
brings its own lessons. So, the
question remains what knowledge
can be gained— from a
metal tree?
