Mine Only Queen

Why dost thou abandon me?

Lady, why dost thou abandon me to this mortal realm,

Lonely in my governance without your healing balm?

I would beseech thee save a place for me

To cower in thy saintly shade, good grace to radiate from thee,

Until dread time when I, too, shake off this weighty flesh.
