Mysterious Mystery

The heart and soul of a nebula,

That mysterious stardust,

Fills your bones and blood,

Mysteries in their own right.

From the raging (but gentle)

Furnace of the sun,

Our atoms came to life.

Dancing!

And through a series of yet

More mysterious happenings,

The womb of the earth bore you.

Through choice you are here,

My (literally) sunny friend.

And eye, ear, mouth, nose, and skin

Of the Universe.

With senses beyond the physical,

And perception beyond the

Fine and subtle workings of the quantum.

With pumping arteries and

Electric gray matter,

Interlocking spheres of energy

Governing bodies unknown to you,

You’re running the show!

A walking, talking point

Of awareness…

Bring the popcorn,

Dim the lights!
