a drop of that
Shake it! Swirl it!
My wondrous creation!
Clouds of smoke
formula bubbles all over
smells unpleasant
doesn't look right
What went wrong with my wondrous creation?
Add another drop of this
and less of that!
No! Less of this and more of that!
Vial held eye level
Swirl it again!
formula must be precise
Late nights, after hours
locked in here with my wondrous creation
They think I'm obsessed, they say I'm mad!
but no one could ever understand!
Experimenting on things that should not be
formulas that do not mix,
concoctions never heard of!
I want to see results!
They think I'm delusional, they say I'm mad
Just wait and see!
After my wondrous creation reaches ultimate perfection
They'll call me brilliant! And they still might call me mad!
