My Wonder Years

I’ve Arrived

By Earl W. PearlPublished 3 years ago Updated 3 years ago 1 min read

I wonder why I wake up several times to go and pee

I wonder why they label things so small I cannot see

I wonder if I took my meds, I don’t remember when

I wonder should I tell someone I pee’d myself again

I wonder if it’s true I get more grumpy every year

I wonder where I parked my car, I’m sure I parked it near

I wonder if the oven’s on or if I locked the door

I wonder who can tell me what my Kindle’s even for

I wonder what my password is, I should’ve wrote it down

I wonder where my family is, they hardly come around

I wonder why the young’uns think they gotta have a gun

I wonder why their pants are worn so low they cannot run

I wonder who just farted because now it smells like hell

I wonder why it’s only me that’s standing by the smell

I wonder why my wife got tats in places they would droop

I wonder should I tell her that her boobs are in her soup

I wonder should I try that blue-ish pill to add a spark

I wonder if I still could make that little woman bark

I wonder where my glasses are, oh wait, they’re on my head

I wonder how much time I’ve got before I wake up dead
