My Winter Reflections

There are many.

By Darla M SeelyPublished about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

In the night sky stars twinkle.

There's freezing temps, gray clouds appear.

Frost appears on cars, wndow panes;

Blankers of snow -- everywhere

People ride inner tubes down the hills.

Some have fun on a skating rink.

We greet people on the street;

And exchange cards wth friends we hold dear.

Stories are told by the fireplace;

Hot chocolate, cookies are treats.

Fun things to do on the snow;

Snow covers the fields and mountain tops.

Snow sparkles in the sun.

The kids catch snowflakes with their tongues.

Sometimes the cold causes ice on the streets.

Icicles form on rooftops, gutters.

The snowflakes cause peaceful scenes.

Deer are seen on the snow.

We see some big dowdrifts on the streets,

Mounds of snow piled up by the wind.
