Christmas Is

It is my favorite holiday.

By Darla M SeelyPublished about a year ago Updated about a year ago 1 min read

The cards we send across the miles;

Radiating love with our smiles,

Watching the snowflakes gently fall;

Decorating trees small and tall

The joy shared with a loved one;

Watching the children have fun

The gifts which are handmade or bought,

And kind greetings which mean a lot.

Gathering by the fire at night;

Each of the lights which shine so bright,

The pretty wreaths on doors we see;

Stars, angels on top each tree

Seeing all of the kids' eyes glow;

When they see the new-fallen snow,

Singing carols we love to hear;

Some songs bring peace, we shed a tear.

Christmas lists which are sometimes long;

The new-found friends which get along,

Helping a person you just met;

And memories you can't forget
