Am back to my roots,
To the home of my ancestors,
To my village,
Where I feel a sense of belonging.
38 years ago, my mum took me away in search of better life. Like Jacob left Isreal for Egypt and Nomi left Bethlehem for Moab in search of wheat and bread.
Now am returning to:
My Land,
My river,
My water falls,
My streams and my brooks,
To where the spirit of my ancestors are.
O I feel so belonged,
I feel whole,
I feel complete,
It is such a awesome feeling.

Very deep and inspiring.
Now, reading this poem makes my nostalgia strong. But for me the new place I am living since last 15 years is more home. The homeland people are in the grip of consumerism.
Awesome! Home sweet home. πβ€οΈ
We all have a special place and there no other special place like home wherever you happen to be. Good job.
No need to leave, if you have such a paradise place, without eating, you can live freely.
